Kroger $25 Off?

I had not ordered from Kroger in a year or two and saw this in one of my Facebook Groups. $25 off your next order of $35 or more. I checked and sure enough, the coupon was there to be clipped. I ordered groceries and I also signed up for 30 days free delivery. I just received a large order with a bunch of produce (all in excellent condition) and other items I needed for only $10. Kroger lets you select a one hour window so very easy to schedule your delivery.

Check to see if you have this coupon in your Kroger account! Super cheap groceries! https://www.kroger.com/savings/cl/coupons/

Fun Easter Egg Hack -Recycle those Old Silk Ties

Here is a fun and different way to dye Easter Eggs and recycle! First find a few colorful silk ties. Silk scarves will work as wel. They must be silk for this to work. I usually grab mine at the Goodwill bin stores for $ .99 a pound. Since ties weigh very little, this is super inexpensive! Grab a bag of rubber bands from the Dollar Store.

Cut open the ties and take out the lining. Cut a piece of the tie that will wrap completely around a raw egg. Wrap the egg in the tie, then in the lining, and use rubber bands to secure. Place the eggs in a pot with water, boil as usual, and cool. When you remove the ties, the patterns and colors should have transferred to the eggs! I have included a few pictures to show you how this works. Lots of fun and much less messy than using dye! So tie up some of those eggs, and HAPPY EASTER!

Free Toothpaste Anyone?

I just got 3 tubes of toothpaste for free…well to be honest Publix paid me a penny to buy them. I think being paid to take home toothpaste is even better, right?

Right now if you have the Publix App there is a coupon for $5 off Colgate Optic White Pro Series and a coupon for $3 off Colgate Optic White Pro Series. The toothpaste is also BOGO, so I clipped the coupons in the app, purchased two for $7.99 and then put in my phone number at the register to claim the $8.00 in coupons. Two tubes for – $.01.

Winn Dixie has new kiosks right inside the door that print high value store coupons that must be used the same day. Currently a $2 off crest is printing, and the Crest pictured is on sale for $2.00. I stopped by last night and tonight, printed, and took home free toothpaste both nights!

(There is also a $6 off Charmin or Bounty 6 roll package printing so I spent 1.99 on T.P. both nights as well).

Sales end at both of these stores on Wednesday so make sure you get out there in the next two days to take advantage of your free items.

Lately the coupons have been amazing out there. It is almost like these stores are having “coupon wars” so take advantage and stock up on things you need!

Almost Free Ice Cream

I just got two pints of Halo Top Ice Cream for under $2! Halo Top 16 oz ice cream pints are $5.99 at Publix. If you check there is a digital coupon in the Publix app for $1.00 off. (I missed this but am going back today and will take advantage of the extra savings).

Check out the rebate at Inbox Dollars (this is the same as Swagbucks but I like the format of Inbox Dollars app using actual dollars back vs. points that convert to dollars). Right now they have $10 back on two Halo Top Ice Creams, and you can use this rebate twice in one week. The cash back was instant and you can immediately cash out with a virtual visa card or gift cards for numerous other stores. Sign up for Inbox Dollars here: https://www.inboxdollars.com?rb=103472273. Check for the rebate, click, purchase, and snap a photo of your receipt.

Last week I got two pints of So Delicious Ice Cream for .50. It was buy one/get one free and Ibotta had a rebate of $5.99 back. So I went to Ibotta, clicked the item, and then purchased it, snapped a photo of my receipt and got 5.99 back. Sign up for Ibotta here: https://ibotta.onelink.me/iUfE/8cc13c64?friend_code=bxahnax

Dont forget to snap a picture of your receipts at Fetch when you are done. Nothing to click there but you get points for every receipt and sometimes they have bonus points for the same products! https://referral.fetch.com/vvv3/referralemail?code=CW5FD

I don’t even eat ice cream very often, but maybe I will have an ice cream party for all my friends! (I also got free rice, free yogurt and made a profit of .40 on two packages of Band-aids using these apps and coupons, but that’s a story for a different day.)

So get out there and save – I mean who doesn’t like free or almost free?

Get Paid Cash for Books, DVDs and CDs Sitting Around the House

It is the digital age…does anyone still listen to CDs? Read bound books? Watch DVDs?

The answer is yes, and you can sell those unwanted items online, and the companies who purchase the items even pay for your shipping!

The more obscure your item, the more you will be paid. That means the mainstream movies, CDs and books will not pay as much, if at all. But if you have some of the more rare media items they can be worth some cash.

CDs & DVDs – sell these on Decluttr. You can download the app and scan the UPC codes or simply go to your desktop and enter in the codes to find out what they will pay you. Then print the packing list and label, drop off at UPS, and the money goes to your paypal or direct deposit when they receive the items. Easy Peasy! And yes, this is not a typo: Decluttr.com (they evidently lost an “e” somewhere). They will also buy your used tech if you have any and I found the best price on an unlocked cell phone there when mine was stolen.

Books: There are two different sites that find buyers for your books. BookScouter.com and Bookfinder.com. I like Bookscouter for their app that allows me to scan books at thrift stores. I once walked into the Goodwill outlet and made 195.00 in 10 minutes when I found 4 textbooks on agriculture worth almost $200. I recommend you download the app for research.

From my destop I prefer bookfinder.com which shows all the buyers and their minimums. They vary from $5 to $15. However they dont show Powells.com, which purchased mainly fiction so you will have to also enter the books there as well if you have mainly fiction.

So start selling the media in your home, and if you are a thrifter, find media to sell online. You can always post your media on Ebay and Amazon and make more money, but I am a big fan on the quick turnaround and not having a huge inventory in product. Either way, it is $$ in your pocket!

Costco Membership $15 or less?
